FAQ

On this page you'll find answers to common questions:

1.  Do I need to bring my instrument? - Drums and keyboards will be on site. But all guitar and bass players should arrive with their instrument and a guitar cable. The Music Experience will furnish amplifiers, microphones and PA equipment as needed.

2. Are beginners welcome? - Musicians of all levels are welcome!  Whether you can play a single note or already know how to lay down a blistering solo, you'll find that being around other musicians in a collaborative environment is fun and rewarding.

3. Do I need to do anything to prepare? - As a musician it's good to always be practicing or pushing yourself to the next level. Think about where you would like to improve and what you hope to learn.  Set some personal goals for the end of the 3 days. Otherwise, just arrive and have fun!

 4. Will I perform on stage in front of the entire camp? - That's the goal!  Even if you're a beginner, Matt and the team will work to find the best opportunity for you to take the stage with counselors and other participants on the final day. Whether you're singing lead, holding down the rhythm on guitar or just shaking a tambourine -- you can experience the thrill of live performance.

5. Are meals provided? - We will be serving a lunch each day. Feel free to bring any small snacks for yourself if desired.

6. Is there parking at the La Vernia's Den location? - Yes! Complimentary parking is spacious and available on-site.

7. Can family or friends attend the final live performance? - Yes! We'll have the final Saturday performance schedule closer to the actual date. Friends and family can come enjoy burgers, beer and live music at La Vernia's Den. Plus they are invited to stay for a headline performance by the Zack Walther Band!
